Yeah, where the heck have I been? Sigh... I just can't seem to make time slow down (can anyone? If so, please let me know.) It never seems like I have enough time to do anything I want/need to do... I'm just constantly doing stuff that I 'have' to do. And that's no fun right? Plus not only was today Monday, but the lovely Christmas tree that I was so excited to have cut down at the tree farm last Sunday may be dangerously too big for my stand! (Okay, so I really wasn't thinking about THAT detail when I was going for a REALLY BIG TREE!) Sigh. So if you all just pray that my tree stays up for the next few days while I figure out how to prevent a repeat of 'xmas tree fiasco '98' that would be great... (Think Christmas day, tree on the floor, out to the curb!)
Okay, back to stamping... I have a list of 'things to stamp and craft' and it's already the 9th. 15 days till Christmas? Hmm.. Still doable right? you think? maybe? please? This card was a fun one we did for my AP/Holiday A Muse class. Loved the A Muse twinkle stickers on the headlights. And that skyline stamp has been used for so many great ideas by all the instructors and designers. I just love seeing how that stamp can be used!
I love blog browsing during the holidays because everyone has such great crafty ideas. You all are so talented! I wish I could just channel that energy and output it into my own creations. This card to the right was made for my Cat's Pajamas RS class last month. Simple, but cute. And I really like those marvy snowflake punches... I'll have to see about getting the other sizes for use next year. hm. I love that the coloring is simple to do and using those nestabilites give a nice scallop frame around the whole image. Easy. Hm.. maybe I should consider this for my xmas card this year?
